In what appears to be an extension of the recently launched WeeRooms, the new World for WeeMees is a full fledged virtual playground, with immediate plans for growth. WeeMee's can choose from a variety of locations to visit, chat with each other, make friends, and interact with special objects that will give off surprise events.
Given the presence of so many virtual worlds like Habbo, it was only a matter of time before WeeMee users would long for more customization and more interactivity amongst themselves. So far, the virtual aspects of the WeeWorld are rather limited in comparison to other sites, but WeeWorld already has plans to add more cities, areas specific to chat, and games where users can obtain hidden objects and get exclusive prizes.
What all this new interactivity does, however, is provide more goal-oriented options for users of WeeWorld. Instead of merely creating avatars with custom rooms, users now have a reason to further explore the site, venture on quests, and perform tasks. With the increase in engagement, WeeWorld will also become more attractive as a marketing tool. As we've seen with other virtual worlds, something like WeeWorld could be used for video screening, and a number of other integrated activities.
With WeeMee's recent API release, I imagine that the potential of WeeWorld could be vastly expanded as other site publishers may be interested in incorporating some of the avatar community tools into their own sites as well.
What would be interesting is if the API offerings could usher in a new level of virtual world interactivity. For example, WeeWorld integration with AIM or Skype chat would build on both fronts of what WeeWorld has already offered to users, and could prove more attractive to users that already have multiple accounts across various virtual worlds.
I have to admit I am in love with this website! It says you have to be 13 on this website Which I agree! Things you will find enjoyable: chatting, games, friends. All of the games are Apropriatte for any age.
Friends would be for 9 year olds and up. Most of the people on weeworld add everyone they can and accept all friend requests. But it really dosn't effect you in anyway. Chat worlds PG-13. On the worlds it is fun to talk to people and there is a report button.
But some kids like to talk about drugs, start up gangs and cuss. They block out all cuss words but some kids abbreviate cuss words. Party rooms: 17 or older! It pretty much lets you say whatever or do whatever you want! The worst thing that bothers me the most is you can cyberbully anywhere besides games.
Every where I turn I see bullying. But the website is Very Addictive! There is nothing really wrong, It's fun and you can play drawing games and hang out, make your character fly and participate in forums, I think it's because of the girl. When you make her, she has boobs - Seriously, you women have boobs too! There might be some sensual activity, because most people talk about dating on their profiles and try to say bad words. At parties most people want to date, but it's normally fine for me, it's fun and safe for most kids, I like it and privacy is safe, except there might be stackers so be careful and have fun! Well i think you should not keep on worrying about weeworld and startto see what ur child is doing in real life as my friend she does really bad stuff on weeworld and while her mom is checking what she is doing on weeworld she hanging out with teenagers in real life doing dirty things and smoking and in real life she 4 times as bad as she is on weeworld and shes only 12!!!!Parents weeworld has stopped her from doing some bad things by people showing her a good rolemodles and teaching her that to be cool you dont have to do all the things she does today.
Weeworld gives me a positive attitude and i also read stories people put on there and it helps with me with writing in english!Also the nudity and the swearing on there first shouldnt we know that stuff already when were at the age 9 or somthing ive had so whats the big deal but for kids younger its quite innaproiate. What I think about this website is that their are a lot of inappropriate language, sexual intercourses with other wee mees, their are a few of inappropriate clothing when they change their wee mees (for examples: a girl user can go around wearing just a bra and underwear). Users can find their way around with cuss words by putting.,.,! Or @ in between the curse words. Their are people giving out their street addresses, phone numbers, their real names and other personal things. I gotta say that weeworld is an fun addicting online chatting website ( I know because I have one myself).
And I highly recommend that kids that are at the age of 13 and under shouldn't be on this site (because there are chances that ur child might come upon an bad person (user). And one final thing their are also a lot of dating and hackers on this site so if you have an child that have a wee mee keep an eye one them. Well I have been a member of wee world for quite a while now and I actually don't think the website is that bad. Yes you may be able to cuss in certain ways but that's your child's Decision to do so. Yes they do have have sexual messages at times but i've never received one my whole time on wee world but if you receive one either block the person or report them. Also yes you can pick the size of there breast but that's for some people who would want or like that feature. Personally i just get on a lot to dress my character up and chat SOMETIMES and that is it.
But truthfully people over react about the things on wee world that's every virtual site there is and if you wanna be concerned go get on IMVU or SECOND LIFE then you'll see bad. I am 11 and i play this game. I have to admit ot isnt a very good website for kids under 9. I have seen some language that i report right way and block the certain person.
But i have made some good friends on there too. I have seen people asking for numbers and addresses. Which i report and start talking to a Ambassador about it. Good for age 9&up i am on there and the lauguage is over the top.the breast sizes go from small,medium, to BIG.i recommend it to somekids.it really depends on your child.it depends on how much they ignorebad language and bullying.the launguage is blocked but people can stillcurse and say bad stuff. I don't believe it's a site for kids though. For one, most younger teens that are 13 tend to be immature and inappropriate. There are even 10, 11, and 12 year old sneaking onto the website by lying about their age. You can do this same thing on any other sites like facebook, twitter, myspace, and etc.I've read some reviews people have left about this site and not all are completely true. I myself have an account on WeeWorld and I'm 15. There are, probably to your surprise, a lot of good people on this site. I mean WeeWorld does have it's dark side with inappropriate people that speak of sex, violence, drugs & alcohol.
If you want your child or teen to stay safe at all times, then show them what it is to be a responsible user of the internet.Meaning staying away from giving out any kind of personal information, not dating online, lying about their age, being inappropriate (cybering), and so on. Honestly, all social networking sites can be just as bad as WeeWorld at times.
No site is perfect and there are always going to be those people that you absolutely never want to come into contact with.If you decide you want to allow your kid to join, that's fine. If your child is being bullied or harassed your child can simply block that person and report the issue to WeeWorld.Overall, WeeWorld isn't that bad of a site. I enjoy it during my free time and catch up with some really cool people I've already met on there (most of which are my age or older).On another note, there are adults on this website. This site I believe was originally intended for adults 18 and up. But they lowered the age to 13 and up. But the adults will likely state they are adults and not lie. But of course there will always be the dangers and chances of your child coming across an adult lying about being a teen.
